When I've scheduled a record, I can see in the EPG a little icon before the broadcast and if I have increased the schedules before and after the broadcast, there are 1/2 icons before and after. It's very convenient 
.
When there are several episodes of the same series, I have an 1/2 icon before the first episode, an full icon before every episode and a 1/2 icon after the last episode. But sometimes, there are icons before the first episode and no icon for the following ones. I suspect it's the case when the schedule is around midnight.
