Vu+ UNO and HDD: Unable to initialize HDD

Hello everybody,

I'm new here. I love the openpli image and hope we'll find a solution so I can continue to use it!

I have a Vu+ UNO and an internal Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 500GB SATA HDD connected to it. I used for 1 week the BH image and the HDD was fully functionnal.

When I discovered openpli, I decided to change the image and now, the problem is that I can’t use my HDD because I can’t initialize it with openpli 3.0

I read the thread “harddisk initialization error” posted by nigelf because it’s the same problem when I try to do an initialization. After a minute, the error message “timeout” comes.

I try then to do a “ext3 to ext4 conversion”, but the progress bar freeze at 80% with the status “Waiting for mount”.

Could you please help me?
