In the past I have tested with Maxdigital XP1000 and today with Mutant HD1100. Both are excellent bcm7358 devices.
But with both the mediaplayback(mkv, mp4, avi, mp3) stops after several minutes or after several zaps through channels. The only frustrating solution is to full reboot.
The new drivers, new gstreamer and kernel 4.0.1 and kernel 3.12.1 does not solve this. Maybe the problem starts with the newest dvb drivers, I don't know.
The problem exists also in Openatv 4.2, 5.0.
The best solution for me is to use a Openpli4.0 image that I have found from october 2013 for XP1000, this one has the 3.9.1 kernel and works flawless for weeks.
But for the Mutant HD1100 I havent found a proper image with older kernel/drivers.
