Problems restarting Clarketech ET9000

Hi,

Have been using my Clarketech ET9000, for over 3 years now. and I have been very pleased with it until a few days ago.

I have the following : "Bootloader 2.6.31 UBIFS"
Image used : OpenPLi-4.0 Beta (Last successful re-installation was 28.05.14)

After that update, I did notice that the ROOT memory was very low. Only 1.1 MB free (of 128 MB). Don't know if that's important ? ? ?

I have used to update the tuner on a daily basis, and that has been working good till 4/6. I did the daily updates, and did restart the tuner.

To make a long story short, since then my tuner has refused to start.

1.) What happends :
- Turns OFF tuner with switch on the back.
- Inserts a working USB stick "with a fresh IMAGE in the back of the tuner.
- Turns ON the tuner.
- Tuner starts up, and display on tuner shows a NEW image is found on USB stick. Push OK/CANCEL (on tuner).
- Do push OK, and tuner display says "Flashing..."
- After about 10-12 seconds tuner restarts, and shows "ET9000". Then it starts all over again.

2.) What have I done :
- Have downloaded 4-5 DIFFERENT builds, and tried these. NO significant difference.
- Have tried these on different USB sticks. Tuner finds ALL of these IMAGES, and does start the flashing procedure.
- Have downloaded the BOOTLOADER (mentioned above). Still the same result. Restarts after 10-12 seconds (BEFORE flashing is complete)

3.) Contacted the company that sold me the tuner.
- They don't deal with Clarketech any more.
- Based on my descriptions, they think it could be a bad sector in the bootloader.
- They do also think it could be a bug in the updates from that day ! ! !
- Recommends me to get in touch with a forum, as someone will probably know how to resolve this problem.

Hopefully someone on this forum will be able to help me.

Yours
