Hi all,
I turn to you in hope of some solid advice on what to do next.
You see, this box has been treating me really good for almost 4 years now. Now and then it's been having hiccups but a simple reboot usually did the job. However, lately (read 3 weeks now) the EPG has been acting up for me.
A simple click to bring up the "What's on right now"-EPG shows split up for me, kind of like this (see link): http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/6159/88778780.png
What happens is that no EPG information would fit in, it only lists the channel names and no scroll bar is available (as it should be). This means it's impossible to see what's on TV without going through them all one by one.
Here is some basic information on the box:

Now, before asking for your advice on what to do next there is a few things you should know. I only use this box to watch TV, I never record or do anything special with it. Secondly, I don't own a serial cable (RS232) and my computer doesn't support such a connection. I might be able to get my hands on the equipment needed but from what I can tell it's going to cost half of what I paid for the box itself and I only own this one box!
Could/Should I do a factory reset through the DM500 (using remote control) by going through the setup and so on?
Could/Should I find a new image and use Flashwizard Pro to upload a new one (and which one?)?
Thank you for reading this post even if you can't help me out! I'll try my best to answer any questions and try what you recommend me!
Best regards, xTQ
