I have a duo2 box, A/V settings are configured to 1080p 50Hz HDMI output.
I've noticed that when I:
1. enter timeshift (by pressing << or pause)
or
2. start playing a recording
or
3. activate a dvb usb tuner (by switching to appropriate service)
then the video signal is reset somehow causing TV to flicker. I have a minimum TV's OSD on every signal change, so I can observe what happens. TV screen goes blank and OSD reports like there is no signal, then after a second or so, signal is restored to 1080p.
Note that:
I tired without timeshift (PTS) and it did not help.
Condition 3. above is flickering only when actually activating the dvb usb tuner. When I then switch from one service to another (on whatever dvb-t mux) but the same tuner is in use, then no flickering. No flickering when switching to or from built in tuners (dual dvb-s2 and dvb-c/t).
All that flickering disappears when I switch A/V settings to 1080i.
Please help as 1080p is much better or some services.
